Question: Do you believe in ghosts? why is the unexplained so often taken to be the "supernatural"?

Are there haunted houses, or only haunted people? Is seeing believing, or like me do you think things need to be believed to be seen?

There are no haunted houses. Only paranoid people who are afraid of the dark. And the unexplained is "supernatural " because someone was too lazy to think of the real scientific explanation and blamed a ghost. I believe in heaven, but not that people would want to come back to this world. Maybe send a sign, but not actually "come back "

People are deathly afraid of the unknown, ghosts, I think, are just something to blame things on.

I believe it! I don't want to get involved in it seriously. Check out youtube, although there are a lot of stupid videos there are some freaky ones by far!

I think there are things that will never be explained and that you should only believe what you think is right, because no one will ever really know.. we can only guess at what might be out there.. and i think if you have an over active imagination.. you might freak your own self out, and think it's a ghost, when it's really just you..

Hmm okay well i agree that sometimes when dont find out the reason they just think its a ghost or something supernatural like one time i heard a knock on my indow at like 3 in the morning while i was alspee and like two times and i got scared (well i dint think ti was ghost i thought it was robber or a stocker or something but i got so scared and just started making all these things in my mind about what was it becoz i had no explantaion but in the morning i found out that it was my dad who closed the window becoz it was raining lol wow i know right so i think when people dont have an explantaion for something logically they think it's supernatural becoz thier brain cant understand the concept or recognize it u know and i think even when we do see stuff our eyes can be misleading like one tim i saw these yellow eye like behind a tree and i got scared i thought it was gosht butmy eye mislead me it was only a cat lol

I think if I had to see everything to belive it, i would be a very depressed person. I have to belive that there is SOME higher being or what not. I, personally, think that there is a God and that their are spirits but not in the traditional 'ohhhhh im a ghost' way. I think that the people I love who have passed away watch over me and are with me, but I don't think evil spirits come back to haunt me.

Yes i do and if you ever watched the emf detectorwe have one and we think we have one in our house because my dad said we are sorry for the ones we have lost and we went to go check it and it said WHO and it freaked us all out we even set up candles all around the house and asked it to blow them out and it did and at my old house since i moved i lived in the attic but it was remolded into a room but anyway this old lady was coming up to my room with a basket and i could see right through her and she came over to my bed and hit my with a basket it was so sscaryand if you want to talk some more hhere'smy email eric1995k@sbcglobal.net i know its kinda long but oh well see ya

Supernatural deities are very likely to be real. Solid video proof is yet to be found, but thousands of occurrences have been reported. If you're interested, you should try to spend a night in a place you believe to be haunted! Many are poltergeists, and can be produced by the individual. A poltergeist is a noisy ghost.

I am a sensitive medium, psychic and can channel, astroproject and many more. i can ground myself firmly when they all come in at once. i have yet seen a solid spirit 'Yet'and as so many other mediums think that sometimes they, doubt themselves??? to what they have seen?

Yes I believe in ghosts, and even live in a haunted house. My wife, and I have seen, and heard ghosts in our house. Our daughter will not stay in our house after dark.

Your question really depends on who you ask. Skeptics will say that ghosts are merely misinterpretations or mind tricks. A believer will say that ghosts really exists. Being a paranormal investigator, I believe both ways. I have been able to explain things that people thought were ghosts with natural elements (doors opening on there own, shadows in a room, unexplained footsteps, etc). However, there are other things that I could not explain and had no choice but to offer it as possible proof of paranormal activity. For example, I was on an investigation in a residential dwelling with my group. I was doing an EMF sweep of a room when I came across an unexplainable high reading. I told another investigator to come over to where I was and witness the spike for himself when I heard a laugh. The laugh was one straight out of a horror movie. There was only one other person in the room and the rest of the team were on the other side of the house. I went to where the laugh came from and there was nothing in that area that could have caused the laugh. I believe that both people and houses/ buildings can be haunted. Seeing is definitely believing. Someone can say they believe in the paranormal, but there will always be some doubts in their minds until they experience it for themselves.
