Question: Is that movie paranormal activity based on a true story?

Yeah, not a true story but true events. theres also a show called paranormal something i forgot haha and it shows events very similar to the ones that occur in the movie. hope i helped! :)

It can't be. there are two different endings. in the theater version, the girl eats the camera and then it says that she's still alive but currently not found. in the other version she slits her throat. so if it were true, they would either have found her body or not.

No but it's based on what people at what we call a loser convention SAY is a true story :}
