Have you ever experienced "paranormal phenomena"? What is it?
I always thought paranormal stuff was hokey until I moved into an old house and witnessed and heard certain things to make me change my mind, like the specific sound of heavy footsteps going upstairs and walking across the floor when it's just me and my husband living here. I've seen a ball of light bounce across my dining room table and disappear into the ceiling. I've been in bed reading, and have seen an indentation in the mattress like someone was sitting there, only to slowly rise up once I've put my hand in the indentation. It's so weird. I was raised a catholic who became agnostic atheist, so I'm not real quick to pin this on " ghosts" . But my husband has witnessed many of the same things I have and we've both seen things at the same time. I just don't know what to make of it. It doesn't scare me, but I'm really curious as to what it really is. So I'm wondering, what is your take on paranormal phenomena?
I hope people don't think i am crazy paranormal?
every since i was 13 yrs old i have seen the ghost of a little boy who is dead i searched it and the little boy is dead and this ghost of this little boy follows me and i when i ignore him he will cause things not to work in my room and since animals see things humans cant he will mess with my kitten and drive her crazy and i need to know if anyone knows any web sites i can get ahold of a paranormal investigator to help me find out what this little ghost boy wants and how i can help him to move to the lights and leave me beif you cant say anything nice don't answer this ?if you think i am crazy do not answer this ? please and thank you
Why does paranormal activity only ever seem to happen in the dark?
all the tv shows about paranormal activity is in the dark. reports on that sort of thing is always in the evening.the only time i think ive seen that sort of thing happening in the light is in movies of which they are making it up as they go alongi don't believe in ghosts and stuff but i just want to know where this thing where ghosts only appear in the dark comes from and how it came about

This is a question for only the very few who will read it the right way and understand that this isnt the ramblings of a fanatical or delusional mind, but someone who is real. I know many have claimed such over generations throughout history..but this is real and if you give me a chance I will prove that I am at least sincere. I KNOW I have power in me, I can feel vibrations or the " chi" coming off me and raise it at will. But I need to be in the right environment to CULTIVATE that power...thats why I need to find someone to live with and mentor train guide me to train everyday several hours a day..I cant do it alone. What are some good shows based on the paranormal/unknown?
With all my free time lately i have just been watching tv but it seems that there aren't any good shows on to watch. Everything is about reality tv lately. Well i have only found maybe 2 3 shows that i watch on tv and the rest of the time i have left i just watch movies. I went online and i started looking for other shows to watch but i couldn't find any that i havent watched already or that i liked. So i was wondering if there were some good shows that someone could recommend that are about mystery, the paranormal or are just about the wierd that i might have missed when searching online I have so far watched True BloodSupernatural Hex Criminal MindsNight StalkerHaven Vampire Diaries saw a couple of episodes but didn't like it, not into teen love stuff Being HumanFringePoltergeist The LegacyMasters of HorrorMoonlightI've also watched Ghost Whisperer.Not a Twilight fan at all either.
I sometimes hear noises in my kitchen. Could it be something paranormal?
I've had things happen in this house, which was my grandparents' house for a good 40 or so years until they passed. Anyway, it's been smaller things. Nothing to make me say with 100 % certainty " THERE'S A GHOST HERE " Anyway, recently I've heard a few noises in the kitchen. The first one was the other night, and it sounded like someone was in there. I thought it was my stepmom up to make coffee, even though 4am was a little early for that, but I checked anyway. No one was in there and no coffee had been made.A few minutes ago it's 6am , I heard something in there as I got out of the bathroom and again, I thought it was her but it wasn't. I went to check and all I found was a picture of Jesus and The Last Supper had fallen over onto the floor face down not framed, so no glass broken . No one was in there and the part of the wall it's on is at an angle where air from the vent hitting it is not possible. Might just be some kind of coincidence, but what do you think?
Can someone help me with the paranormal?
I have become very interested in the paranormal for the past 2 years, Though any time I try to look it up. I am always lead to religious nuts, or idiots who can't explain why their toilet flushes every night. I wan't something real. I have never experienced something paranormal, but I have many friends who have. Some who are as skeptic as I am. So this is a request to all you skeptic, paranormal researchers out there. What is the best way to look into this while at the same time be able to work, and live without it becoming an obsession.
Who else knows that most paranormal myths are true?

lately some weird stuff have beem going on around my house. ive heard somewhere dogs can see ghost and i think i may have one. because my dog gets up and barks randomly and just acts a little paranoid and he never acts like this and a few nights ago he jumped and bit my dad and this never happens. my dad also says hes been having weird dreams nightmares about the vacation were taking hes saying we shouldn't go. and my brother and mom have claimed they say a black figure running across the house what should i do?

Is there any correlation to religiousness and belief in pseudoscience or parapsychology like ESP and telegraphy and Bigfoot?Correlation does not equal causation, yeah yeah, first year philosophy, psychology, but you never know.I think the fallability of the human mind doesn't just stick with religion, confirmation biases and self serving biases could pertain to anything, like ESP, a magic artifact and things... Have you ever had a paranormal experience? What happened? Have you told others? I once had a very scary experience when I was in the hospital. I remember hearing these horrible loud foot steps almost as if there was some one running through the halls. I was becoming so annoyed becuse it was probably 3 in the morning. Then he appeared, a old man darkened my door way. His whole form was shaped like a human but he had this other worldly green glow. He had on workout gear, a sweat band around his head. He seemed to be marching in place as if he were jogging. At first, I wasn't scared just dumbfounded. Was this a bad joke? Then a malicious grin swept across his face and I knew he was not a good spirit. It drew near to me, screaming at me. His screams were so deafening I though for sure he had punched me. His face was no more than 3 inches away from me. My whole body trembled. I had so many tubes and wires that I couldn't leave I just shrunk under my covers like a school girl until I fell asleep or passed out. No one knows this encounter except my husband, and now you. Tell me your stories.
