Question: Who knows if god allows people to have near death experiences to show them that hell and heaven are real?

Because the Bible tells us what is true. Of course if we don't read the Bible with the intent in learning everything from God about the subject in hand, then we are going to believe anything that comes along outside the word of God. The Bible doesn't say anything about near death experiences. On the contrary, it describes what happens when we die: when unsaved our body and soul goes to hell, never coming to life again . However if you are one of God's elect then your soul goes to heaven and the body goes to the grave and awaits the rapture day when Jesus comes and your body is risen to receive a new body and then to rise to meet God in the air.

There is no such thing as a near death experience. If you are reading about supposed occurrences, know that this is bogus. People do have hallucinations as their brain shuts down, providing an explanation for this. The machinery is powerful enough to cause vivid dreams, it can work in this way as well.
