Question: Could somebody who believes in an afterlife/metaphysical existence tell me a reason why there might be one?

Either that or we are biological computers who's "off button " is death. Even if death is oblivion, the universe is infinite. This means that there will be another time when the exact same structures that make my body and electricity will come together again. You know what they say about monkeys and typewriters....
