King Saul goes to a spirit medium and apparently talks with the ghost of Samuel through the medium and gets told he and his sons will lose in battle and will die and it happens

The Bible mentions ghosts several times. The disciples thought they were seeing a ghost when Jesus walked on the water. If they were not real, why would it actually say ghosts so many times?

The Bible speaks of spirits, I don't know about "ghosts ".

Yes, so therefore according to your example, there are ghosts. But, they are saved spirits, who had faith in the coming Messiah. Although, Jesus tells of Lazurus and the rich man in hell.

Familiar spirits are demons pretending to be dead persons.

Yes, it does actually, precisely what you say. and also the bible says you shouldn't get into that black magic kind of sphere, with talking to ghosts etc. it is - no doubt - from satan, though it exists! so be aware.

The HOLY GHOST is our hope of salvation. With it, you are none of his.

Bible teaches there are no ghosts. If you read closely it says another spirit of devil makes this trick. And he took permission from God to do it. If you read in the Book of Job, Satan takes permission to do bad things to him. Because Job was a blessed men, a men of God, a humble men. So Satan cannot touch him without permission. And if God gives permission for somebody to get harmed, it means he will double bless him in the future, like in the case of Job if you read to the end. People believed in Ghosts in the new testament too. If you read when Jesus walked in the water, to get to the ship with his followers, they thought he was a ghost (read it carefully). But he wasn't. So believing in ghosts is nothing new. It's a false believe for thousands of years.

I'm not any of these, but let me make one thing clear: GHOSTS DON'T EXIST! Complete bullshit! If the Bible teaches that there are ghosts, then it's contradicting itself.

You have given one answer here already, there is a reference to Jesus as being thought of as being a ghost when the disciples saw Him walking on the water, but later learned that no that wasn't the case. There are 'spirits' that seek to indwell man, who is not saved, and these are demonic in nature, or called 'familiar' spirits'. Then there is the HOLY Ghost as the Holy Spirit is sometimes referred to by other denominations. Another point of reference is when the Lord died on the cross, the spirits of the saved at that time rose from the dead, and walked in the streets, that passage may be in the Gospel of John, if not the other gospels. You may want to cross reference that for yourself to see for sure. It would seem to be logical to say, that ghosts are those spirits of the saved who had risen from their graves to show that Jesus has the Power to save ! I am speaking of the time of the Cross when Jesus had died. AS at that time the temple curtain had also ripped from top to bottom, so the Lord God, had several things going on at once then. It was a very strange thing for the people to see I am sure. Otherwise 'spirit's are not considered to be of God, so much as from Satan. So yes there are such, and yes they are real. I can give you an instance for my own sake, when I was cleaning out my sister's room, at the time, she was in the hospital, and I both heard and saw a 'spirit/ ghost' run by me and screaming in a high pitched voice that I heard as it ran by me. I never heard or saw it again. But only saw the outline form of such, it's coloration was as if a film of smoke definable very faintly as in human form. It ran quickly, and was apparently terrified of what I was doing ?? I was cleaning out my sister's room of the things that needed to be gotten rid of, i.e. paper trash etc. The form seemed to have a familiar shape about it, and appeared to be feminine in form,as in a deceased family member. I had goosebumps, at that time I heard it scream and run by me. So yes there are such things, and it did me no harm what so ever. I hope that confirms to you that they are indeed real. I have also seen a vision of the angel of the Lord, ? or the Lord Himself when I was driving, this time it was not a thin film, but in solid color, looking as three dimensional as any human being. He motioned to me to follow Him. I was driving my van at the time going in the opposite direction of where He was walking beside the road as such. I had a long enough look to be able to see His face, eye color, and hair color, and length, and the kind of clothes that were worn. My heart was beating out the name of Jesus as I saw Him. It was also burning with that Name as well. When He could see that my heart was willing to follow Him, then He turned, and walked away, I saw Him disappear, and that gave me goosebumps too, as well as the fact that I was driving my van the whole time, and did not lose control of it. It was in Tx. at that time, and my husband was unemployed . So the fact that I saw Him, or His angel more likely, was an encouragement to me in a hard time of my family's life. I was motioned to follow HIM, and that I have done prior to then and since then. So I hope that is able to be of help to you. We were unemployed for a full year, and I had young children at the time. So I did not seek to try to work as I was encouraged by my friends there to do so.

NO the Bible does not teach that there are ghosts... That is a very good question and I'm glad that someone actually asks it. So many ppl (Christians included) just automatically believe in ghosts... Probably from being indoctrinated with Walt Disney movies as children. God warned His ppl to stay away from necromancy, which is the supposed communication with the dead. (Dueteronomy 18:10,11) The Bible calls these "ghosts " familiar spirits. But what exactly is a familiar spirit? Is it a ghost? ... Almost every time you see this term it's coupled with either a witch or a sorcerer or some sort of occult practicioner. (Leviticus 19:31 and Leviticus 20:6). Look at the story in Samuel 28:6-25 and then ask why would God allow a witch to bring back Samuel who would have been in heaven (according to common belief, I'll deal with that next) from the dead to be the medium through which God would speak to Saul after what it said in verse 6... Then look at 1 Chronicles 10:13 and see what it was that Saul was speaking to... I would propose to you that a familiar spirit = a demon. Study it for yourself. that's why God told His ppl to stay away from that stuff. Demons are deceptive. They're smarter than us and they're powerful. They can easily impersonate a relative or loved one. Who else would know a certain person so well as the very demon that was in charge of being at their side every day to cause them to fall into the pit of sin and be lost. These demons know every aspect of a persons life, they see everything we do. And the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 11:13, and 14 that the Devil transforms himself into an angel of light... Imagine that... My last point... I believe that if the Bible says in Acts 13:22 that David was a man after God's heart that he is certainly a man who would be in heaven... But what does the Bible say about that? Acts 2:29-31 says that he is still in his grave. We don't go to heaven when we die. We don't go to hell when we die. We don't go to purgatory when we die. We don't become ghosts and roam about the earth in the form of spririts. Psalm 146:4 says the day we die our thoughts perish. We turn back into dust, the breath of life that God gives us returns back unto Him. And we wait until Jesus' second coming and the resurrection of the righteous or we wait until the resurrection of the wicked after the 1,000 years (John 5:29... Revelation 20:5-8
