Question: Why do soo many people believe in ghosts yet there is no evidence for them?

Like this documentary ''Haunted London Underground'' http:/ / www.youtube.com/ watch?v=5FcSYeszW9c &feature=related I think it is BS I use to use the underground everyday late in the night and at times was the only person on a platform or in a train carriage yeah its eerie yeah when I was younger I was scared at times but otherwise I have yet to see anything paranormal. Also London is CCTV captial and the underground has the most CCTV they should of at least caught one on video by now right? Ghosts surely do not exist. Other than pictures which could easily be manipulated it is usually someones witness account and never any real footage yet many people who have not really even seen one believe in them Im going to Kennington tonight because im bored and I want to see a ghost lol I am an atheist, I dont believe in God

Maybe they had an experience with one. their may not be no evidence but if u get spooked or come across one, shoot u'd believe too!

Some people experience it, and some dont, it doesnt mean it doesnt exist, example we can feel the wind but yet we cannot see it but we know its there

I believe in Ghost. I have seen them 3 times in my life my mother as well.

Well, people who saw ghost never live to tell the story. Only one out of many that survive, and people like you don't believe them. P.S. You cannot video tape a ghost. It has no body, otherwise we call them human.

There's things that CANT be proven. A VERY beginning of ANYTHING can't be proven yet we know IT HAPPENED- we're here... so I don't require my own proof for everything in life, just because I may not have experienced it. I am willing to take other legitimate, people of good reputation's word on some things.

Dude whats evidence do you need if you've had the experience? If you are religious theres the belief in spirits. And If you live in apartment where someone died, you might find that every night for an entire summer whenever you went to bed and tried to sleep, something would shake you away, but nothing was there, and you couldnt move or speak?

To me ghosts, are like Santa, God and fairies and even more. You never see God but look how many people have belief in him, there also has actually been evidence of ghosts, in pictures and even more. My granddad and me when to some haunted building and the lady next to us had a digital camera and she was taking photos of her children and when she looked at the photos on the screen there was a third child no in a little sailor uniform, scared the shite out of me. You just need to belief though, its up to a person whether to belief or not.

If you belive in GOD then you have to belive in ghost too we cant see our GOD but still we belive in him an worship him he is also in pictures many people claims to see GOD but there is no evidence same is with ghosts

I do not believe in ghost because i have never seen one, however, i believe in God yet i have never seen him, but i feel him in me. Some people who believe in ghost say that they feel a ghost around them, but idk. Anyways, are you King of London?

There is loads of things there is no evidence for. Humans have not exploited the whole universe. Far from it. We, more or less, know nothing about our universe. Ghosts could eg be objects from another dimensions that we cannot understand. (we only understand 3 out of atleast 15 dimensions)

I think it is our relation to God. He is a mystery, we do not know for sure whether he exists. Same for dead people, are their souls ? Can you sleep in a cemetery on top of a grave or even inside a tomb next to a casket alone ? Probably not, because you fear of something unnatural. The universe hold so many unanswerred questions about life, death etc that we believe in paranormal.

Same reason people believe in a God I suppose.I don't know, I kinda always got creeped out when I was younger, especially after my uncle died.
