Hey guys and or gals. Got a question, are ghosts real because I watch the ghost shows and all the paranormal activity happens off camera. Also shouldn't ghost come up on cameras.
Based on the Bible, do ghosts/spirits exist?
This question has always been interesting to me. Based on the Bible and Christian beliefs, after someone dies, is it possible that this person's spirit lingers on earth and stays with the family, maybe as a guardian of some sort..? If the spirit can stay on earth, can it somehow interact with humans or the environment, such as making noises, moving things, or anything else?This question has recently become especially interesting to me. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away a couple of days ago. Last night, after having a breakdown and crying for a long time, because I regretted not spending much time with my grandma while she was alive, I talked to her. Rather, I should say I was telling her how I felt and how I was sorry in hopes that maybe she can hear me, or in some way know how I feel. When I finally calmed down and began to fall asleep, I thought I felt someone or something touch my hand. I opened my eyes, but no one was there. I did, however, see what seemed like a translucent white orb, or object of some sort, moving for a couple of seconds, after which it disappeared. I would love to think that this was my grandma, and that maybe God sent her to help calm me. However, I am having doubts, as any normal human being might. So the question is it possible that this was my grandma, based on what the Bible says? Is it possible that spirits linger on earth? Please include scriptures if at all possible...Also, for those who might see this question as silly or stupid, please don't add negative responses. This is a very sensitive subject, especially since the death is very recent, and unless you have proof to answer the question one way or another, please, out of respect, don't respond to this.Thank you... My2Cents My grandma definitely falls under the " righteous" group. She was a woman of God all her life. She was probably more devoted to living her life for God than almost anyone else I met. So believe me, she is in the " righteous" group... I'm not saying that these spirits linger here and suffer, but according to 1 Thessalonians 4 15 17, it says that even those who die before the second coming are not in heaven yet. Rather, they are awaiting the second coming. I just want to know if it's possible that while they are awaiting, if their spirit is in a sort of trance where they hear nothing, see nothing, feel nothing.. or if God possibly allows some to be with their families....

Hello once again. XDI've recently had a new obsession with ghosts, spirits, and especially stories about them as well, all thanks to the awesome show Ghost Hunters. This isn't a really new obsession I've always been intrested in spirits and such...Anyway, I was wondering Do you guys know any websites that list stories about spirits and such? I'm into the stories of Alcatraz but I only heard one of them and I know there are plently more. And when I say stories about spirits, I mean stories that actually happened and explains why that certain place is haunted. I guess you'd rather call them history then stories, then.Also, even though I'm interested in Alcatraz, I would LOVE to hear from other haunted places as well such as 50 Berkely Square, The Devil's Tree, Bobby Mackey's Music World, etc.And thanks a bunch in advance I'd love to read more stories
