Question: Catholics: why do people think apparitions of mary are actually demons?

There are stories about her crying.There are a lot of Mary sightings and people say it is a demon.Thanks to my cousin I finally got my mom to believe I am not a liar.She showed my mom all these facts.She also made her believe that I have seen Mary multiple times.I don't care if you think what I am seeing is a demon or I am delusional because I know nothing is wrong with me.By the way I am a Catholic myself.I have been taught to worship God and to honor Mary, Catholics do NOT worship Mary or the Pope. - What is your opinion?

For some reason, a lot of "Christians " think that God has stopped performing miracles. Reputed Marian apparitions are examined by the Church. The apparitions found false are declared false. A Marian apparition, if deemed genuine by Church authority, is treated as private revelation that may emphasize some facet of the received public revelation for a specific purpose, but it can never add anything new to the deposit of faith. The Church will confirm an apparition as worthy of belief, but belief is never required by divine faith. This belief is optional. Folks - after reading this question, will you please re-think your choice of christianity? I mean come on! This is getting out of hand! There are so many people like this too - in today's society! IT's downright scary.

I do wonder why they always see mary and not jesus.... oh, and it's the protestant catholic haters that call them "demons " ... the rest of the folk don't really care...
