Visible manifestation of a ghost is an Apparition. when has the holy ghost manifested at all much less visibly, bible myths don't count.

There is nothing holy bout satan and his demons decieving peoples into thinking they are "ghosts " i.e. a person who once lived....there is no scriptural support for "ghosts " there is scriptural support for evil spirits, demons....the dead are asleep and know Nothing as scripture defines 53 times. many people are suckers for this belief amongst others, but satan is doin what he does best, decieving, he IS the father of Lies, is he not? An apparition is the manifestation of the subconscious lack of a vivid imagination. The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is a power source that the Almighty God uses to His discretion.It is not a living entity per se. There are no such things as ghosts who exist as disembodied supernatural spirits. It is a work of fiction.

Ghosts as conscious souls of dead people do NOT exist. When person dies his/ her body goes into the ground and their life`s breath, the energy that makes them living, goes to God-who breathed it into Adam. So there are no ghosts of the dead people floating around, but there are demons-evil spirits- who are fallen angels, who at times impersonate departed dead, with precise accuracy as to deceased appearance, voice, and even behavior. Main reason for this is to make living people believe that there ARE ghosts of the dead, around and that human soul is IMMORTAL-which is old Satan`s lie dating from garden of Eden- "Surely you shall NOT die.. "
