Why do Catholics believe in Marian apparitions when there is no scriptural support for their existence?
Do Christians believe in ghosts, poltergeists, and other apparitions, or not?
Just wondering...Now if you say that you believe in the Holy Spirits, that's not what I mean...
What are your views on religious apparitions?
Medjugorje, Fatima, Knock to name but a few..they have been credited as authentic etc and all have religious shines erected to honour the sightings. In your opinion are they genuine apparitions from heaven or a simple case of wanting to see something so much that you will believe that it is true or completely false claims? Most of these sightings are revolved around Catholicism but I would like to hear from other religious denominations too I have my own opinion but I would like to hear yours

I believe they are not spiritualy or biblicaly they advance nothing of the kingdom of heaven but that of spiritual darkness.Its a trick of the kingdom of darkness

Or that dont believe in consecration to her sacred heart etc?What do i do?I agree with teachings of the catechism but i do not feel comfortable about the marian apparitions even the approved ones and it seems all fear based calamity based trying to have an effect on your emotions or numb your senses almost like emotional manipulation or confusion.But belief of the marian apparitions,consecration to mary etc seems to be synonymous with Catholicism so i doubt my self and feel like i'm swimming against the tide.What do i do,as i dont " fit in" there,but at same time i also dont belive in stuff outside of Catholicsm to have anywhere else to go eg i dotn believe in Baptists interprepation of the bible or roles for marriage etc.Is there even one other Catholic that questions whether the apparitions are really from God or that does not do the Mary consecration stuff?Is this necessary for the catholic faith?Does the pope say that the apparitions that they have approved of is infallible teaching?I mean,the approving of one,does that mean it is infallible that it is from God,and that they couldnt hve go it wrong got deceived?Messenger of God 1.Christians arnt meant to question other Christians faiths or say if someone is a " bigger" or " lesser" Christian then another.2.The bible says to discern and question everything not to mindlessly follow believe.Now have a second look at your answer again.Add im not suggesting that people didnt see what they saw or that it didnt happen.The bible says though that satan can do miracles too and that we should discern test everything.

In all the paranormal TV shows I've seen, and ghost stories I've read heard, the apparitions and paranormal activity only occurs at night or in a dark room...but I myself have experienced these things many times during the day as well as in brightly lit rooms. Am I the only one?
Ghostly Apparitions of Children, What Should We Do?
Hi, my girlfriend has been having a problem and I'm trying to help her out. I don't know where to ask, and while it seems illogical, this is a means for quick and sufficient reply. Recently, about a couple of months ago, my girlfriend has started seeing ghostly apparitions throughout various parts of her house. They apparitions would almost ALWAYS be children. Her family with whom she lives with sees them too. Her sister even noted that she's seen one of them in her house different one, few miles apart as well There is one main entity that they commonly see. She's commonly found staring in out of the mirrors. Even more so recently, several other apparitions were seen as well. They were however, still of children. Two small girls in Victorian is that right? style clothes and a little boy with a distinguished hat.I don't know what to do, my girlfriend is really freaked out but her parents are unwilling to move due to financial complications. I can't necessarily pop by and sleep with, so she's hardly able to get any sleep at all. Should I assure her it's nothing?If it is something, what exactly could it be? Children in their house? They've lived there since it's construction, how is this possible?Her entire family are seeing such things, so it's obviously not a personal psychiatric thing. Death No..she's not taking anything. They don't have any common health problems that would subject them to any hallucinations. I haven't slept over so I wouldn't know, but from what I hear, they're trying to keep composure but pretty freaked out. I heard her and her brother talking about one girl whom can be seen from the side of the mirror almost every consecutive night when they walk to the kitchen to get some water for example. The other two boy and girl, has been seen standing in the dark corners of the living room, a very defined silhouette if you will. Win Oh my Mass hallucinations via gas leakage exists? Holy crap, I'll get to it right away. That's really dangerous... Thanks man.PS Love that show.
